Orland Park Magic 4th Grade travel basketball team is conducting tryouts on Sunday Septemper 13th at 9am and Monday September 14th at 5pm. They will be held at the Orland Park Sportsplex. Congrats to the Magic 6th grade team.
The 6th grade Orland Magic beat Illinois Speed to win the Br. Rice shootout last
weekend. It will be on Rice's website. Also, tonight at halftime of the Rice vs.
Sandburg varsity game they will announcing that plus they will be honoring kids
who made the All-tournament team. 4 of those 5 kids at the 6th grade level will
be Orland Magic players.
The kids making all-tournament team were Peter Paxinos, Tyler Uher, Matt Gurgone,
Tyler Pygon.
It's been a fun year. We are blessed with good kids that are talented athletes
that work hard. The kids have won 5 and finished 2nd in the following
tournaments:
1. 1st-Merriville Fieldhouse turkey tourney
2. 1st-Bulls Academy tourney in December
3. 1st-Illinois Basketball Academy tourney in January
4. 1st-Illinois Speed tourney in January
5. 1st-Br. Rice 6th grade shootout
6. 2nd place Elgin Invitational
